Faux leather leggings are still trending this season! Faux leather leggings are such a versatile piece and a must have for your wardrobe. You can wear these leggings so many ways, but wanted to share with you 4 of my favorite ways to style faux leather leggings for the curvy girl. If you’re tall and petite then check out my girl Erika’s page. She is sharing a few ways to style the faux leather leggings too!
Some items to remember when styling these leggings would be:
- You may have to size up. I hear often people take their Spanx faux leather leggings back because of the band rolling down in the abdomen area. This happened to me too; once I sized up they were perfect.
- Do they have built in shapewear? As a curvy girl, I have to have shapewear in my faux leather leggings. They ones that smooth my tummy, and have a very flattering vibe!
Look Number One: Sweater Vest with a White Button Down Blouse
The sweater vest trend is a fun one! I snagged this sweater vest and blouse from Amazon and it is so good! Looks great paired with these faux leather leggings and Chelsea boots. Perfect for any holiday occasion.
Look Number Two: Tunic Sweater and Boots
A tunic sweater paired with a good pair of faux leather leggings. Girl you’ll be a show stopper at the next holiday event! I love to wear this look with a pair of knee high boots or Chelsea Boots, or if you’re needing a little more casual pair with sneakers!
Look Number Four: Flannel Shirt, Graphic Tee, Hat, and Sneakers
The best errand running uniform, but make it chic. Style your faux leather leggings with an oversized sweatshirt/ graphic tee (perfect for the holidays) , a ball cap, and some sneakers. Girl you are looking snatched at the grocery store. To take it up a level add a neutral colored trench coat.
Look Number Five: Blouse with a Shacket and Knee High Boots
A flowy blouse is the perfect top to pair with faux leather leggings. I love to wear a shaket for a little extra layering and warmth!
Affordable VS. Investment
I wanted to share a few pairs of faux leather leggings to check out. My number one pair of leggings would be from spanx. They are the best, most flattering, and have held up very well over the years I have had them. I am going to list affordable options that I have heard are great, but for the record I haven’t tried them, so I cannot say if they match up or not!
