Talk Curvy to Me- Featuring Hunter Premo
Hey girl! Welcome to Talk Curvy to Me. Today we are going to learn how to style a velvet dress. If you’re new here, this is where we recreate a petite bloggers outfit and find a similar piece and accessories to make it flattering to the curvy gals body! Hunter Premo is a BOHO queen. She is known for her vintage finds, and having such beautiful style. She also has a very boho chic home. Hunter’s Look
This velvet dress from Revolve is GORGEOUS! Unfortunately, it is a smidge out of my budget, so I went to Amazon prime. They have a ton of crushed velvet dress options in a ton of colors. Hunter’s dress is ABSOLUTELY better quality and will probably last a heck of a lot longer than the Amazon ones I ordered; but they work for now! One of the days I may take the plunge to get this dress because the color is so beautiful.
The Looks I Created
Above you’ll see the looks I created. The Gucci inspired tights, they are #worthit. I would never spend over $25 on tights (and really that’s even pushing it) but I do love these tights and I found them here. They are one size but really do fit! These velvet dresses from Amazon are SO comfortable and have a good stretch to them. The sleeves are not my favorite but for the price point, I can manage the length of the sleeve and just roll them up a bit.
