Hey girl! I am so excited to show you how to wear knee high boots for late summer and fall. I snagged these boots during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale; they were a splurge but worth it in my opinion.
I posted a few ways to style knee high boots on my Instagram Reels and Tiktok last night, and the feedback I received was “Oh my gosh, those are expensive! Do you have a more affordable option?” Here are my thoughts, for a GOOD quality boot, that will last you for many seasons, it is important to spend a little more. With shoes I honestly think you get what you pay for. I haven’t had luck finding affordable, good quality, wide calf boots. With that being said I won’t be showing an affordable option because any that I have found do not last, and are not comfortable. I don’t want to recommend something to you that I wouldn’t wear myself. However, if you have had luck finding a good quality, wide calf boot that is more affordable please send it my way. I’ll be happy to try them out and share.
Knee High Boots: Fall 2021
These boots come in four different colors (I may snag the cognac color). I am showing you how to style the taupe color. I chose this color because it’s such a good neutral and goes with anything in your closet. Below you’ll see different pieces to style them with. I wanted to style them with investment options and affordable options. Remember each piece you’re wearing doesn’t have to be higher end. You can make the affordable option look designer by pairing it with one investment piece. We are using the boots as the investment piece.
Styling to Avoid
According to the article “How to Wear Knee-High Boots” from Purewow we are supposed to avoid styling knee high boots with shorts and tights, or baggy pants (yikes). Instead try styling with mini dress to have the same vibe, while keeping it on the 2021 trend.
