Another top I would invest in would be a nice linen blazer. I purchased a white linen blazer for this summer. It’s beautiful, lightweight, and would be perfect for work. The white linen blazer from Abercrombie is great quality and can be worn for many years to come.
The last basic top I would grab would be a button down shirt. Having a button down shirt you can style it multiple ways. A button down shirt works well for a swimsuit cover up, a top for your girls brunch outing, or as a casual top with your favorite pair of jeans.

Next on your checklist for the capsule wardrobe for summer would be bottoms. During the summer months we love to rock a good pair of summer denim. Whether that be a good mom short, or maybe some wide leg denim. Lately, I have been loving the denim options from Abercrombie. They have the best shorts in my opinion. Abercrombie’s mom shorts are modest, but still on trend. I love how they have a slight stretch to them but they still keep their shape by the end of the day.
Another option for bottoms this summer 2022 season would be linen pants. Old Navy and Abercrombie have a great linen pant option. The jogger linen pants from Old Navy are so good! I love pairing them with a bodysuit.
I just snagged a couple pairs of linen pants from the new summer collection Abercrombie launched. They are so great! These linen pants are true to size, lined, and have an elastic band on the back. They are super flattering too!
Capsule Wardrobe for Summer: Accessories
This is my favorite topic! I love love accessories, especially for summer. The bright, bold colors are my favorite. I also me a good gold layered necklace option. You’re going to want to grab a good straw bag, gold necklaces, and if you’re into colorful pieces you should grab some great statement earrings.
Amazon and Target are my top places to snag accessories. I don’t love to spend a ton of money on trendy accessories so I always stick with these retailers to keep in my budget!
As far as sandals go for the summer time, I love to grab my favorite sandals from Target. They have the best styles at an affordable price. The Dolce Vita dupes this season are so good! I wear them all the time when wearing a dress. They are comfortable too!
Dresses for Your Capsule Wardrobe for Summer
I don’t know about you, but I live for dresses in the summer. The midi dress style is the what is on the fashion forecast for summer 2022. I love a good midi dress with a little bit of flare to it! If you’re looking for more of a fitted option I would check out a wrap dress option! They are flattering for curvy style bodies and are so cute.
