Girl weekend trip to Boston

Hey girl! I just got back from the best trip to Boston. I wanted to share with you a girls weekend trip to Boston and what you need to know. You know my top priorities when planning a trip are where to eat, where can I get a cute cocktail, and where can I shoot cute instagram photos.

Best Places to Eat in Boston on a Girls Weekend Trip

Boston is known for lobster; however, if you’re like me and you don’t love seafood, this post will have you covered. Everywhere we ate was SO yummy. There were some places on the list that we didn’t get to (listed on the itinerary). See below to check out the places we ate at. Many places I would recommend getting a reservation ahead of time!

How many days are enough to visit Boston for a Girls Weekend Trip?

We traveled to Boston from Friday morning until Sunday night. See below for our itinerary! I went a day early to shoot some content for my blog. I always like to have a flexible schedule prior to taking a trip to eliminate wasting time. We spent an entire day in Salem/Concord to check out where Hocus Pocus was filmed and see the Louise May Alcott home. Both of these tasks are worth the 30-45 minute drive! The Louisa May Alcott tour was AMAZING…tour guide was awesome and history information was so cool.

I would recommend 4 days! If I could plan the trip again, I would’ve done a Thursday afternoon arrival time and left Sunday afternoon. There is just so much to do in Boston and I feel like we didn’t get to all of it.

Is Boston a good girls weekend trip?

Boston is such a great idea for a girls trip. We had so much fun catching up and exploring a new city. Lots of history there and a ton of things to do. Our favorite tourist item we did was drove to Salem to check out the Hocus Pocus area.

Outfits to Plan for When Traveling to Boston in April

Boston was a little chilly when we were up there in April! If you’re traveling to Boston during the spring months, I recommend wearing light layers and jeans! If you stay downtown you’re able to walk to most places. Keeping this in mind, be sure to bring good sneakers or tennis shoes! We walked a lot while we were there.
